Here is a treated lumber deck we just finished in Middletown, Ohio. The lumber came from McCabe Lumber in Loveland, Ohio.
The treated lumber is ProWood, which is the latest in treated technology. As with other pressure-treated lumber products, the preservative used to treat ProWood® Micro CA contains copper and quaternary compounds that protect against termite attack and decay. But with ProWood Micro CA, the copper is micronized to provide revolutionary new benefits: less corrosive and compatible with aluminum. Unlike other copper-based wood preservatives, the preservative in ProWood Micro products does not use solvents to dissolve the copper in solution. Instead, it uses micronizing technology (patent pending) to grind copper particles so small they can penetrate into the wood in solid form.
More Natural Look
ProWood Micro CA has a lighter, more natural wood appearance when compared to other types of copper-based treated products.
Stays Looking Good, Longer
After one year of outdoor exposure, ProWood Micro CA has an even more natural look than cedar or redwood.
The deck season is coming to an end. Contact us today to get your project started.
